History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Richard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Gilbert hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Gilbert alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Trey is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was born in the east. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and retire the richest man in the east

Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing black cape and mantle trimmed with soft grey waves gently in the breeze. Sporting a red mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Shepherd who has hired him part-time. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Through the years after Richard was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Richard's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Carter. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs
