Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gerald fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now mingles about in high society.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When Miles reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. He now spends his time doing works of charity.
