Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Aldous was born with his mother's beautiful face. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Cook. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he is unsatisfied with his job
