Nicholas decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Miles Blakeley, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This dark-skinned male wears grey trousers with brown and green striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His brown hair is singed and shortened. His ears are large.
Personality: He hates goblins. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Fortune-teller work with an outfit from a few towns over. Fortune-teller work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Fortune-teller for the past few years.
Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he wants revenge against goblins

Lewis Marley, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is an average looking northern male in his early mid-life. He wears a tattered pair of loose blue pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. His hair is chestnut, silky, and of moderate length. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.
History: Lewis was born with his father's beautiful face. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Being a Stylist kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: Wants to work out more often.
Ideals: Athletic, Professionalism. Flaws: Insane. Bonds: Poor, Attractive. Occupation: Stylist

Roger Tewksbury, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This man is tall and muscular. He wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with blue colored cloaks and clothing. His white hair and beard is wavy and long. His green unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Roger is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away
Ideals: Athletic, Justice. Flaws: Disease, Greedy. Bonds: Rich. Occupation: Spy
Voice: Hollow voice
