History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Shane took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up ceremonial dagger and armor he uses now. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Reynard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has worked as a Laborer like his mother before him.

History: Geoffrey was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Anthony was born on a far western forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Bookbinder. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
