Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Born in the south to a Carter, Trey learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. After a long history of fighting, Trey and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. A true patriot, Cory would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Cory was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Fisher they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Cartwright, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Tanner born in the past three hundred years. The war was a terrible time for him, and Raymond does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Raymond lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Raymond liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
