Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Shane embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was born into a rich family. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he seems to be bored by most things

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He now owns his own business.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to be a spy again

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Detective business.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Alex grew up listening to his father's many stories. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears a grey vest and prefers brown and tan shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. His silver hair is still thick. His eyes are green.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. Charles enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.
