Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Randal hails from a village terrorized by drow. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Ralf was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Dilettante for hire.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and further expansion of business

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Adam lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature quarterstaff.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He got into the Carter business at a young age. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He disdains his fellow easterners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
