Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He's also a talented Butcher, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He has moderate length white hair. His green eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Gilbert's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. Gilbert is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. A gifted student he started as a Masseuse, but he got bored and became a Detective. He became a Detective soon after.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and to reunite with his absent mother

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Map Maker. He has worked as a Map Maker like his father before him.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: A 5'0" northern man, he wears skinny pants and wears a blue and brown robe with the hood down. His auburn hair is singed and shortened. This gray eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Carpenter profession.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Through the years after Shane was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Shane's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he's looking for his big break
