He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Brewer arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Through the years after Norman was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Norman's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Norman and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Clerebold wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Clerebold took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up crossbow and armor he uses now. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
