History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Jocelyn grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. After a long history of fighting, Patrick and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he is unsatisfied with his job

His hair is long and blonde with streaks of red, and is pulled back with small black clips. His beard is red, braided, and well cared for. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He is greedy; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
