Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: He was born into a rich family. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and regain custody of his daughter

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He was born into a rich family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has worked as a Blacksmith like his mother before him.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Blacksmith responsibilities is difficult; and to be a detective again

His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In his youth he was a Shoemaker, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he has passion for adventuring and risk
