History: He was born in the north. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His parents enrolled him in a Warlock school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Roland never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
