When his mother died while fighting drow, the young Bertram began to lead the lost caravan. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Bertram was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the drow.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Manfred fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Gifted from a young age, Gomory studied abroad. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
