History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His childhood dream was to be a Fletcher, but he was a colossal failure. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: To be a Fletcher again; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was born in a small mountains village. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

His silver hair is heavily combed to the right. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Bernard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion.
