History: Hugh lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Mercenary born in the past three hundred years. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A gifted student he started as a Sailor, but he got bored and became a Mercenary. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: To be a Sailor again; and he is unsatisfied with his job

His hair is long and red with streaks of auburn, and is pulled back with small white clips. His beard is auburn, braided, and well cared for. This gray eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: Bertram speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Bertram alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
