History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Cory grew up listening to his father's many stories. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Carter. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Alex was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Cook work with an outfit from a few towns over. Cook work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He's also a talented Sage, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
