History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Through the years after Gerald was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Gerald's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Roger was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this western guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He works hard and plays hard.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Beggar hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and he is wracked by social anxiety

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Adelard has worked very hard to control his curse. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Adelard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
