History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

A freak accident while working with his Herbalist mother left him crippled. After a long history of fighting, Kyle and his spouse have recently divorced.
