History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His childhood dream was to be a Tanner, but he was a colossal failure. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Anselm's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Anselm alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Anselm was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.
