History: Bernard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His childhood dream was to be a Marshal, but he was a colossal failure. He has worked as a Carpenter like his father before him.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: Born in the west to a Soapmaker, Nicholas learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Through the years after Nicholas was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Nicholas's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Now he works as a writing tutor during his time off.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.
