Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.
Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Jocelyn's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.
History: Born in the north to a Cartwright, Jocelyn learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Jocelyn alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he wears a grey vest and prefers tan and black shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. With bright auburn hair and a scraggly beard. His eyes are brown and beady.
Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.
History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Cook hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Ploughman they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Cook, and he later adopted a second daughter.
Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.
History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

Description: This late middle aged man typically wears tan cloth garments or leather armor and is in decent physical shape. He wears his brown hair down. His half smiles and blue eyes are beguiling and draw you in.
Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.
History: He was born in the south. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

His attire stands in sharp contrast to his shortspear, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a rose on it. He has wavy brown hair. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.
Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and to reunite with his absent mother
