Personality: Randal hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying south to reunite his family. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Randal was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and many illithids want him driven away

History: Roland was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Druid, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Druid in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
