History: Charles was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Bard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Bard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Dilettante. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was born in the north. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Dilettante. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
