History: He was born into a rich family. Bertram abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Geoffrey hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
