History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Born in the north to a Courier, Peter learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. After coming to the age of reason, Peter took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

History: Geoffrey was born with his mother's beautiful face. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

History: Born to a Tailor, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Courier hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it
