History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gilbert grew up listening to his mother's many stories. A gifted student he started as a Merchant, but he got bored and became a Crown-heir. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Through the years after Randal was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Randal's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Henry enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Henry was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he is wracked by social anxiety

History: Rolf was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.
