History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Gerard abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Randal is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. The war was a terrible time for him, and Randal does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
