History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Ruler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Born in the north to a Soapmaker, Bertram learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Soapmaker for the past few years.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A freak accident while working with his Bricklayer mother left him crippled. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
