Don Royston, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His silver hair is matted, messy, and big. This green eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: Born in the east to a Banker, Don learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.

Geoffrey Ryley, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. His hair is silver and curly. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.
Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and money/treasure
Ideals: Extrovert. Flaws: Mundane. Bonds: Rich, Attractive, Military. Occupation: Dilettante

Adelard Dryden, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This late middle aged man is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior and is in decent physical shape. His auburn hair is long and unkept. He is baby faced.
Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.
History: Born to a Fletcher, his mother struggled to pay the bills. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Adelard never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Manfred Westbrook, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he wears a brown cloak and cross-gartered grey stockings. He sports a long golden beard, and similarly colored long hair. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines amber.
Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.
History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes
Ideals: Joker. Flaws: Ugly, Cynical, Disease, Insomniac. Occupation: Merchant
Voice: Relaxed voice
