Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Charles enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Theobald embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Theobald was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Theobald was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. After a long history of fighting, Theobald and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Simon was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and balancing his hectic life and new brewer responsibilities is difficult

He became a Server soon after.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. The war was a terrible time for him, and Ernest does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Ernest was born with his father's beautiful face. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
