History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Bertram was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Bertram's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Sellsword.

Description: An older man who likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather, he is not a threatening figure. Sporting a black mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with singing. He constantly tries to fill his life with singing. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Alex was born on a far western mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Sage. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears a blue coat over a green low-cut shirt, and a feathered hat upon his head. His blonde hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He has all his life been fascinated with writing.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
