History: John hails from a village terrorized by drow. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: This man stands a little under 5'2" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. He is bald on top and has large golden tufts of hair around his ears. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: Simon hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Guard but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it; and money/treasure
