Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Bernard is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He tends to his Bookbinder job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: This malnourished man is dressed in earthy colors with a black and white handkerchief worn on his left side. He has dyed his greying white hair a little too much giving a sharp white color. His gray eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents enrolled him in a Bard school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He wears long strands of jet and short brown dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. He has white hair. His eyes are brown and beady.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the south. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Tim was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Soapmaker. He has worked as a Soapmaker like his mother before him.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Soapmaker responsibilities is difficult; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it
