Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Humans. His skin is dark but he possesses many grey ritualistic tattoos. He wears a robe, a symbol of strength around his neck, and a kukri on his belt. He wears his brown hair down. His brown unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Adelard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Adelard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and to end his boredom

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a beer of some kind. He wears a tattered pair of loose violet pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs, marred by beers. He has shaved his head bald. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and many giants want him driven away

Description: This slender man stands about 6'2". He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His blonde hair is greasy and uncared for. His eyes are likewise amber. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: This man loves music and to teach people music more than just about anything. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Hugh hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and human compassion

Description: He wears long strands of topaz and short grey dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his morningstar, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a dagger on it. His auburn hair is singed and shortened. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are violet.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Expand his business.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. A gifted student he started as a Courier, but he got bored and became a Merchant. He became a Merchant soon after.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Merchant responsibilities is difficult; and sabotage a competitor
