History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving John alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and a deep hatred of goblins
