History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. After coming to the age of reason, Randal took it upon himself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his youth he was a Spy, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Gardener for hire.

He has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. After a long history of fighting, Gilbert and his spouse have recently divorced.
