He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes orcs are coming to abduct people. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. At a young age his mother died while driving off some orcs. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in pickaxe use. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Roger fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Layabout.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.
