History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He is a Deep Scion in disguise. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His red hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines hazel.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: Norman hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and revenge

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Lewis grew up listening to his mother's many stories. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Lewis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has never given up on his music dream.

History: He got into the Spice Merchant business at a young age. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers
