Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Hubert grew up listening to his father's many stories. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sword.
