History: Born in the north to a Interpreter, Frederick learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. Personality: Kody is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. The war was a terrible time for him, and Kody does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has never given up on his writing dream.
