He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Roland was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Patrick was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A freak accident while working with his Navigator mother left him crippled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
