History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying north to reunite his family. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He found a children's book about a Human Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
