History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Thomas grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Thomas was born on a far southern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Spice Merchant. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and retire the richest man in the south

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Ruler. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Guard arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has worked as a Guard like his father before him.
