Geoffrey Stapleton, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Human, and stands approximately 6'3". He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather, and his gloved hand is found clutching a trident. His black hair is singed and shortened. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.
Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is an amazing painter.
History: Geoffrey was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Bard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Bard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Bard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Ploughman mother left him crippled. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Robert Atherton, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty white coat over it, and he perpetually has his ceremonial dagger ready. With bright auburn hair and a scraggly beard. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: Robert wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Warrior, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Robert is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: He comes from a rich southern family. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now mingles about in high society.
Motivation: Money/treasure; and he has money and likes to spend it
Ideals: Fighting, Disciplined, Justice. Flaws: Ugly. Bonds: Rich. Occupation: Map Maker
Voice: Slow speaker

Trym Altham, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This younger middle-aged man wears a blue vest and prefers grey and white shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down, and a wedding ring on his left hand. His long black hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His gray eyes are slightly larger than normal.
Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Trym was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now spends his time doing works of charity.
Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he loathes his own lifestyle
Ideals: Philantrophist. Flaws: Ugly, Depressed. Bonds: In love, Mentor. Occupation: Scribe
