A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Born in the north to a Cook, Bertram learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He became a Cook soon after.

History: He got into the Map Maker business at a young age. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He's also a talented Bowyer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears a tattered pair of loose tan pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. His white hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His eyes are gray and beady.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the north. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Junk Dealer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and to unite with his sister

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Born to a Sailor, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Lance was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Dilettante. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and he feels threatened by others
