He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: This slender man stands about 6'1". He wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt. His hair is cut close to his head. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Hubert was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and he would like to get married and retire

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking eastern young adult. He is wearing a long, black cloak. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. With a patchy blonde beard and wild blonde hair. His half smiles and amber eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Bernard hails from a village terrorized by brigands. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Bernard was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Personality: This man loves music and to teach people music more than just about anything. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Layabout work with an outfit from a few towns over. Layabout work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He tends to his Layabout job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with singing. He constantly tries to fill his life with singing. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.
