History: Nicholas hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it.

History: Guy was born with his father's beautiful face. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Detective work with an outfit from a few towns over. Detective work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. History: Heward was born with his mother's beautiful face. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion
