History: Lance lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Lance never married again.
