He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying north to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: Lewis hails from a village terrorized by drow. His parents were killed by drow in a raid when he was still a young child. The drow captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Revenge.

He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Alex was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Shane was born the youngest of three triplets. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.
